An Illusion of Infinity
The large open oversized bathtub, in this bathroom, creates the illusion of an infinity pool overlooking the cityscape. It is the guest bathroom of a penthouse located at the INIA project on the EM Bypass, Kolkata spanning a carpet area of 3150 sq. ft.
The luxurious bathroom spreading over an area of 110 sq. ft. is made out of luscious neutral-tone grey marble with beautiful golden detailing running all over the surface. The wide creamy white sink pairs up perfectly with the lighter tone of marble connected with the beige console for storage.

Talking about the brief and how he designed this bathroom, Arya states, “The client wanted a mix of modern with an international, avant-garde flair. With careful consideration of the client’s needs, we set out to create spaces that exude a relaxed atmosphere and laidback luxury. We tried to capture the evoking Manhattan-style clean, sophisticated environments and stuck with sensibility throughout.”

He further opines that the challenge is never the execution, it is to create something that exceeds the expectations of the client. “It was a project where I explored different tastes of luxury.”
