The large open layout is what stands out about this bathroom. “A large open bathroom space is what the client wanted. There was a provision for a bathtub that we later changed into a dry area which fitted a console unit. Apart from that, the idea of the washroom was to feel airy and spacious which I think we achieved by knocking off the bathtub in particular,” shares Andre Camara, Partner, Studio Camarada.
The design seamlessly merges modern aesthetics with plush materials to create a truly indulgent experience. “The centrepiece of this bathroom is the clever utilisation of open space, allowing natural light to flood the room and providing an unobstructed view that enhances the overall sense of spaciousness. The strategic placement of fixtures and elements creates a harmonious flow, making every corner feel inviting,” adds Camara.
Soft, plush materials envelop the user in comfort, transforming the bathroom into a cocoon of relaxation. “The design philosophy extends to the choice of colours and textures, with soothing tones that create a calming atmosphere. Sleek lines and minimalist aesthetics contribute to the open feel, ensuring that the bathroom becomes a haven of tranquillity.”
In this space, the boundaries between functionality and luxury blur, offering the user a sanctuary to unwind and escape the demands of the day.
