An Open Bathroom
The design brief for this washroom was to connect bedroom with bathroom. “Hence, the bed back wall marble cladding continues onto bathroom walls with clear class & high gloss metal sheet on the ceiling. This made the entire space seamlessly blend into the luxury of this bedroom,” explains Ruchi Sharma, Principal Designer, RS.De Experiential Design Firm.
The unique selling point of this washroom is how seamlessly it flows into the bedroom which doesn’t make it seem obvious. The key highlight is the use of a bold black marble which almost makes it into an invincible character. Clad with black Portoro marble, the bedroom had an open bathroom concept, which made the tiny room feel spacious. The minimal use of material and colour with a reflective metal sheet on the bathroom ceiling gave this room a fresh look.
